Hello friends of the SWEET2011FC (Seth Wolpin Everest Expedition Team 2011 Fan Club),
Kelly here writing with a brief update to let you know that Seth is safe and sound at Camp I – and feeling good.  He says the icefall was “amazing!” and “incredible!” and that it’s very windy at Camp I.  It took a little under 6 hours to get to Camp I so he is, as usual, exceeding expectations (anyone else not surprised?)
The plan is to rest there for a while and then go ahead up to Camp II.  I’m not sure if they’re planning to tag it and begin the descent right away, or if they’ll spend a night there.
I’ll post more updates whenever I get them from Seth!
